One focus of Angelika Scheibler's painting is the depiction of nature, with which she feels very connected. She finds her motifs outdoors, makes sketches and photos and then paints in the studio. Her personal impressions and interpretations are always included. She likes to paint landscapes and moods far away from the hustle and bustle. Angelika Scheibler paints with acrylic, watercolour, pastel, oil and likes to use egg tempera, an old master technique in which an emulsion is made from egg, linseed oil and water and then mixed with the color pigments. With this medium, the color comes into its own, dries quickly and is very durable. In recent years she has worked with different techniques and materials and completed a part-time degree in fine arts. She enjoys attending workshops and loves exchanges with other artists. Her pictures are regularly exhibited in galleries and public institutions in Germany. She is a member of the Association of Franconian Artists and GEDOK Franken. Some of her works are in private collections. For Angelika Scheibler, painting is an enrichment in life, drive, joy and a creative source. Her artworks have great luminosity and atmosphere. With her pictures, she wants to bring the beauty of nature and the moment she has experienced to the viewer, coupled with her emotions and interpretations, and convey a feeling of relaxation and a good mood. Angelika Scheibler lives in Nuremberg and works there as a management assistant and freelance artist.
