This is a portrait of Bob Marley in Toonymania style in acrylic on canvas. I’ve always liked to depict famous people, especially those who have somehow made history. He was a singer-songwriter and musician, considered one of the pioneers of reggae. Elements representing his life and musical career are not only found and form the “inside” of the portrait, but the background itself is a continuation of these elements, therefore giving even the most general spectator an overall idea of who he was and what he represented.
