As a figurative surrealist painter, I explore themes of symbolism, the metaphysical, and feminism through acrylic and mixed media pieces on wood. All of my work is created by hand without the use of any digital elements or collage. Using wood as a substrate also introduces a natural element which becomes part of the composition, and acts as a construction material to introduce 3D elements. My goal is to create beautiful paintings that are both metaphors of our lives and represent the filters we all see our worlds through.
