ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Pinnacles Desert, located in Nambung National Park, is a popular tourist destination and one of the most visited attractions in Western Australia. The Pinnacles are famous for their natural limestone formations, which were created over 25,000 to 30,000 years ago when the sea receded and left seashell deposits. Over time, the coastal winds eroded the sand around the pillars, leaving them exposed. During my visit to the Pinnacles Desert, I painted a picture of my little Dim Bao and me playing hide and seek amidst the unique and beautiful landscape. As we played, we spotted a sand goanna climbing just in front of us, adding to the excitement of our adventure.
