Parv Pranjala, born 1997 Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would spend hours sketching whatever caught my eye. My parents noticed my love for drawing early on, and encouraged me to follow it. I began with quick sketches of people and scenes around me, often sitting in busy public spaces, capturing the movement and energy through rapid strokes. Over time, I found myself drawn to faces, the stories they held, the emotions they revealed. That’s when my journey into portraiture began. I explored different mediums, pen, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic, each one helping me express the depth I feel when I paint a person’s likeness. I am an Indian artist whose work is rooted in human emotions, identity, and presence. My portraits are built on close observation, memory, and mood. Through expressive brushwork and thoughtful use of colour, I try to capture the quiet strength and unspoken stories within every face. My hope is for the viewer to pause, look a little longer, and feel what lies beneath the surface.
