"The appearance of the vortex" Fine Art Print

Elena Hlavenchuk was born in a family of artists in 1971 in Ukraine in Odessa, where she currently lives and works as a teacher of the highest qualification category of the Odessa Art College named in honor of Mitrofan Borisovich Grekov. Elena teaches students the discipline of Pattern, Painting, Composition. Since 2012 she is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1988 Elena Hlavenchuk has been an active participant in many art exhibitions, plein-airs, projects, festivals. Her works are in private collections, galleries in Ukraine. Elena is a follower of creation of paintings (plein-air) in the open air, which allows you to see and transfer the energetic colors of nature, which is revealed under the influence of a light-air environment. Elena’s creative work is characterized by fullness of light and air, picturesqueness, special transparency of the palette, integrity. To solve visual problems, the artist chooses oil painting on canvas. During the work, the feeling of depth and sonorousness of the paint layer is indescribable. Exactly with oil paints you can create unusual complex mixtures. Also, oil painting can be multi-layered. From under the final glaze the lower layers shine. All art-activity was formed and located in the same creative space with artists, architects, students, art lovers. The activities of Elena Hlavenchuk have been repeatedly marked by exhibition committees, competition jury, educational, social, charitable, and volunteer organizations.
