ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"The moon reflects sunlight. And what light does the sun reflect?". The title of this work contains a quote from the work of the writer Victor Pelevin "The Life of Insects." I associate the image of a young man in the picture with one of the heroes of this work, Mitya, in a dialogue with his comrade discussing the nature and meaning of light.

1975,Khmelnitsky,Ukraine. Im an artist, painter, the daughter of the artist and the wife of the artist. Oil paint, acrylic, hard brush and spatula (palette knife) are my favorite materials and tools to work with. They give me the opportunity to experiment with strokes of paint, the density, expressiveness, or vice versa, with transparency and fluidity.I like the lightest carelessness in my works. I like it when my works are a bit sketchy. I consider the paintings created with ease, as they say "in one breath", the best of my collection.
