Trip to the Moon Print

I was born in Madrid, Spain in 1967. I’ve been drawing and painting since my early childhood, and improving my skills in traditional media on my own during the school years.. Later on, at university where I graduated in Fine Art, I was trained in other techniques, like fresco, sculpting, photography and life drawing. Eventually I came across with computers, and learnt how to work with 2D and 3D software. I’ve been working as a Graphic and Concept Designer and as a 2D-3D Artist in games, 3D real time applications, 3D documentaries, creating media content for exhibitions and theme parks, and as an Illustrator for a range of publishers. As a Fine Artist my work has been awarded and displayed in different contests and exhibitions. The paintings displayed are a compilation of oil on wood/ canvas, and digital paintings spanning several decades. Some of these works date back to the 90s, and some of them have been finished recently. I love oil painting, nevertheless digital media allows me to be more experimental and expressive. My paintings are snapshots of places populated by characters and objects that somehow are funny or significant to me. I don’t intend to convey any particular message or meaning associated with them.
