Yevgeniya N Kizilkaya is an experienced painter, decorator and ceramic artist. Her preferred mediums are oil painting, soft pastels, acrylic and water color, and over the years she has developed a unique skillset and style. Yevgeniya’s art is marked by her love for nature and animals, city life details, illustrations. She mostly focusing on expression from the objects and trying to transfer these feelings through the painting. Mostly we can see that Yevgeniya works as Expressionism artist. Yevgeniya about her art: My art is defined as a mix between realism, expressionism, and illustration. I like to focus on and play with colors and forms, animal figures, abstract shapes, textures and spots. I work periodically in various techniques and like to experiment with different materials. I worked with a huge formats and was a decorative artist for 4 years and painted theater curtains with a background measuring 10 square meters. To expand my horizons and understand forms from inside, I started to work with clay and create sculpture and ceramic art objects. My goal is to create personal artwork that consists of endless variations. Many of my paintings have layers of texture while some are painted with more transparent colors, with spontaneous brush movements, sometimes tiny details. My inspiration comes from all of the beauty around me. I strongly believe that we live in a wonderful world full of joy and positivity. I love the process of painting; it is transcendental sometimes meditative and it brings depth and joy to my life. Through the process of creating I hope to share the positive energy and joy of life with others. Her work is in private and public collections in Turkey, the United States, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Germany, Australia and other countries.
