I work intuitively.My art is raw, unpredictable, and full of energy. I believe that my creativity pulls from my childhood experiences. Weird and strange things have always drawn me in, as a child, I can remember reading ghost stories and then being afraid to go to sleep at night. I also have an affinity for old photographs and vintage things. My creatures as I refer to them are an assemblage of different parts kind of like one of Frankenstein’s creations. In our society where everything has to be unnaturally perfect, my creatures like humans are beautiful in their imperfections.
