Throughout my art work I manipulate the textures and materials used to add a playful element to my work as well as get the audience to ‘look closer’ at the different parts of the piece. My work is mostly inspired by the surrounding beauty of the world around us. I try to incorporate a glimpse of it in each piece I create. I love getting lost in the process of art, letting it dictate the direction each piece takes. Every painting is different, using a different combination of textures and patterns. I like to make the painting ‘busy’, so that there is a lot for the viewer to explore and discover. Things that may not be firstly spotted, will uncover themselves as the audience studies each element closely. Thank you for taking the time to look into my art.
