I was born and raised in Switzerland, with a father who was a painter and sculptor - Werner Witschi. I lived in BC, Canada for many years and moved in October 2021 to Be l Sargento, Baja California Sur, Mexico. As a youngster i got to visit weekly modern Art Shows in Bern and abroad. My favorites were Miro, Picasso, Matisse, Mondrian, Klee, Klimt, and the Expressionists. I am painting mostly on canvas in Acrylics and Mixed Media. I love the ease and speed with which I can paint and draw marks with Acrylics. I have been committed to painting for the last 17 years, It is my life. The more I paint, the more I want to paint. I've won several Awards of Excellence and for Best of Show by the Federation of Canadian Artists.
