Benoît Moreau est né en 1968. A partir de 1988, après une formation aux Métiers du Livre à Nantes, il passe quelques années dans des maisons d’édition. Il devient formateur aux métiers du graphisme et de l’imprimerie. Il expose ses peintures à Paris puis installe un atelier en Normandie dont les paysages deviennent un de ses sujets de prédilection. En 2013, il se consacre entièrement à son activité de peintre. En 2014, il aménage son atelier sur le quai Bérigny à Fécamp, au rez-de-chaussée de l’ancien consulat de Suède et de Norvège, puis atelier de Jean Duranel.
