MAŁGORZATA JOJNOWICZ The artist has participated in many solo and group exhibitions and has been distinguished in a few painting and photographic competitions. Her paintings are in many private collections in, among others, Poland, France, Germany, the United States and the Netherlands. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Interior Design in Wroclaw. She studied painting under the direction of Professors Wanda Gołkowska and Piotr Błażejewski. Besides painting she is mainly involved in interior design, but also illustrating, artistic photography and mural painting. The artist is a member of the Association of Polish Artists ……. “In my paintings colour plays the most significant role and particularly the energy it brings. They are abstract compositions, compositions of colour - completely deprived of any connotations with any objects. I show emotions transformed into abstraction”.
