watchmans place Print

Watchmans Place is a famous attraction for tourists visiting the old town Aabenraa in the south part of Denmark, near to the Danish/German border where I grow up and lived my childhood and younger life. My biological mother lived most of her life in Aabenaa. The town has a large population of german people and has a German school. In the past time a Watchman walked around in the night and sing his watchman songs when he took care of the safety for the town, and he turned on the gas lights in the streets. This historical Watchmans Place in Aabenraa is sorounded by old houses that people here love to stay in for all there life. I have stayed in the old part of this town for 4 years when I came back from Sri Lanka in 1984. I had good contact with the art life and arranged popular exhibitions here that gave me respons in the local medies. My paintings from the 1980' s are all well-kept in my privately ownership. As an international artist I am still going strong with my age of 77, in my passion for create new paintings with my personally technique. My original artwork are painted on good quality of canvas and grounded before paint with oil or acrylic. . All my Art Works from the past 40 years are registered.
