About The Artwork

I grew up in the country in rural Ontario, Canada. There are so many colours and textures that develop in the fields across summer and fall. I like to layer the paint and develop texture into most of my pieces. This helps to create some depth and interest into the subject matter. I've always been fascinated with dark moody skies with bright sunlight in the foreground. When the wind blows across a wheat field in summer it's mesmerizing like watching waves on the surface of the ocean. This painting serves as a constant reminder that there is always light to be found in darkness if you look hard enough...

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada, was where I first studied fine art and illustration. My career as an art director in conventional ads evolved into an award-winning Creative Director at an industry-leading digital experience agency, where I helped design and develop experiential content for some of the world's most well-known brands over 20 years. Connecting and discovering art in a variety of mediums and styles helps to articulate inspiration and feed my spirit, particularly after a day spent ideating for screens. To begin, I like to consider a topic or theme of interest, and then choose a medium that best suits the theme. I'm fascinated by mid-century architecture, the human form, and Northern Ontario cottage life, all of which find their way into my work.
