My name is Kelli Dubay and I am an award winning artist that has been painting for over 30 years selling over 5000 paintings so far. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle. I spent roughly 8 years in Los Angeles but relocated back to Washington State where I currently reside. I have two beautiful children in their 20's that I love so much, and enjoy spending time with. I am proud of them. For fun and inspiration I travel. My favorite places to date are Tossa Del Mar, the Algarve, and multiple places in Italy. When I travel - my art supplies come with me :) I have many different styles of art per say - but in the past couple years I have been working on this Emotional Brut style. All my work is about pain, suffering, sadness, shame, sorrow, dirty, filth, betrayal - the list goes on. For years I've tried to paint some happy paintings - but I gave up. It doesn't fit me. What I like about my artwork is that I don't paint to please anyone. I just open the gates and let out all the shit I feel or saw or heard with no boundaries of technique or acceptance. I just throw up my soul right in front of me. Totally transparent, Totally Real. Totally Raw yet still insatiable. - no apologies.
