Ellen paints from a place where memories, emotions, and the unseen threads of life meet. Growing up in Africa, she lived among bare white walls - spaces without paintings or photographs - yet she carried inside her a rich, hidden world of color. Years later, while living in France and moving from place to place, she began to paint as a way to give those inner colors a voice. Her early works explored the fragility and resilience of memory, and the brain's remarkable ability to adapt. Later, in Estonia, her art became infused with the vivid energy of nature as if the outside world had awakened new shades within her. Today, Ellen's paintings weave these two paths together. Through bold yet sensitive brushstrokes, she invites us to pause, feel and listen - to pass from unconsciousness to awareness, from fear to love. Her hope is that each piece becomes not just an artwork but a gentle companion on the viewer's journey of transformation.
