Flight of stairs represents always for me a challenge and beauty both architecturally and artistically. When looking from the top of the stairs, one can feel fear but my painting symbolizes an achievement of someone who got there without fear. Climbing stairs, sometimes is like going through life, depending on the height, it can be hard to get where you want to be.

Zeljka Paic is a graduate of both the Academy of Fine Arts (2015) and the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2011). Zeljka Paic has garnered multiple accolades including the award for best printmaking at the University of Banja Luka in 2015. Her work has been exhibited as far and wide as New York and Amsterdam. She was featured in The Guardian’s Future of Art - in Pictures article and picked as one of the top artists by Art Aesthetics Magazine for The Other Art Fair in London in 2017.
