"Woman in green dress" Fine Art Print

I am a self-taught artist. I am a painter and have written two books of poetry published by two Italian publishers. I am Italian, I live and work in San Benedetto del Tronto, a country on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. For many years I painted interiors of apartments and still lifes, expressing myself mainly with colours. I love the colours and joy they convey for those who use them in painting and for those who choose to have a brightly coloured and harmonious painting in their own home. I was mainly inspired by Matisse and the other historical painters who lived between the 800 and 900 who belonged to the current of Fauvism. For a few years now, however, I have been more focussed on the human figure, especially on the face, I paint big expressive portrait. They are portrait almost out of time, like eternal, reminiscent of something of the spiritual world that come to life on the canvas and that's what I'd like to convey with these last paintings of mine.
