The world around me felt so mundane, always on the go and every day felt the same. Art is what fills my life with hues and wipes away from my soul the dirt of everyday life. It's Alishba Iftikhar, a new emerging Pakistani Artist, started this work officially during my O Levels. Art is my passion since my childhood, I want to pursue this work further as my career. Art has always been an escape for me and relating myself to the near by world. The only hours I feel alive is while I'm painting. I obtain inspiration from discrete artists around me. I enjoy referring to well known art and artists .I have worked on distinct subject matters and had created lots of great paintings in my journey of learning. I am not restricted to a single subject, I want to paint every aspect of reality. Each work expIores new shades and textures as layers build over and over again, producing a depth within it. My paintings depict an in depth story revealing reality as well as fantasy. I won't say I have given my life to art ,I would rather prefer to say art has given me life. I prefer using acrylic paints as it dries fast and gives texture to the paintings. Being inspired by one of the famous artists, I strived hard to become an artist, "I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart" Vincent Van Gogh.
