I became fascinated with photography in the ninth grade. My high school had a darkroom, and I spent many dozens of hours developing my black and white film and making my own prints. When shooting in color, I used Kodachrome 64. Later, I lived on the east coast and in 6 different countries in Europe where I had many opportunities to shoot in interesting places. My cameras of choice were a Canon AE-1 and a Rolleiflex medium format. I now use digital cameras and do mostly street photography and am attracted to unusual situations and vibrant color. I have won several awards for my photography, and my work has appeared in regional publications.
