My name is Isaiah Moore a self taught unconventional artist. I require variety with the main common denominators being oddity and soul. Which is why most of my works lean towards the abstract realm. I don't want to necessarily specialize in something too specific, I have to be free. I have to connect to multiple forms of subjects and styles, but in a unique way. My thoughts are extremely deep too a point I struggle to cope with them. Art is an outlet that helps me if done right. Motivation and fulfillment is extremely difficult for me so when I paint I must be satisfied with my objective or the ambition won't come. Fortunately this lack of ambition forces me to study and put in the work to discover what it is I'm desperately looking for in my paintings. Many times it comes easy for me and other times I just need to fall asleep and find it while I dream. The most important thing about painting for me, as well as what I am most passionate about. Is art that requires me to paint what I am on the inside or where I want to be. I guess if I had to describe most of my art, I would say diverse yet embodied by unusual meaning and evocativness. I hope my paintings may go out into the world and have a life of their own. Perhaps bringing connection and meaning to another one's life. I feel once you have painted something you shouldn't stifle it. A living being brought into our existence. Its almost alive itself, it is a powerful medium and a history page of mankind's time here. Painting is really an endless journey for me. I don't want to arrive but rather keep discovering. I simply paint whatever I wish to.
