Sergey Agapov, born in 1959 in Moscow, Russia, currently residing in Cyprus. A professional photographer with over 20 years of experience. An avid traveler who has visited 68 countries, with a special passion for Africa - its wildlife, unique cultures and people. Sergey has ventured into the planet's most remote corners, capturing the lives of indigenous tribes in locations accessible only to true adventurers. His archive contains an extensive collection of photographs documenting the unique lifestyles of native peoples and wildlife in their natural habitats. Specializing in travel photography, landscapes and photojournalism, he strives to preserve the authentic beauty of every moment. Each of his frames tells a story - a story he wants to share with the world. International Recognition: - Participant in over 1,500 international competitions under PSA, FIAP and GPU - Recipient of more than 1,000 awards, including 500 gold medals. In 2018, according to the magazine “Who’s Who in Photography” by the Photographic Society of America (PSA), Sergey Agapov was recognized as the number 1 photographer in the world in the “Animals” and “Journalism” categories and the number 2 photographer in the world in the “Travel” category. Winner of prestigious APU Golden Dragon Photo Awards 2021 in "Travel" category, where his work was selected as best among all gold medalists of the year Philosophy: "My mission is to preserve disappearing human stories through photography.
