To clarify other sizes of prints, contact the curator! curator@saatchiart.com Being a “Clown” represents our best other self and the possibility of putting our feelings into practice at all times. The clown is and must always be authentic. The clown is sincere and spontaneous. His gaze is a mirror where we see his interior and our reflection. He is transparent… His intentions are so clear, even when he tries to cheat. The clown is passionate, he feels everything and does it at 100% intensity. The clown is the essence of our inner child filtered by experiences. He is creative and manifests in the purest state of himself in the face of limitations. He is a free being and, from that freedom, he relates to space, time, objects and people. ** The instantaneous feelings of a clown are connected and sometimes manifest at the same time ... this complexity is captured in this image where several feelings coexist in the same act. * Crembrulé (Créme Brûlée) is a clown in all his splendor. Every movement, every expression represents his instantaneous feelings. His distant and mysterious gaze allows us to feel that not everything is what he seems. If a Clown makes us think that he doubts, it is because there is a lot of history to go through behind it. Every moment is a feeling, and “Crembrulé” lets us feel it in all the images of him. Their relationship with the outside The clown plays constantly. It is their way of exploring, learning, knowing, recognizing and relating. It is the way of living from him. Their dualities The clown condenses Don Quixote and Sancho Panza into himself. He is idealistic and pragmatic. Dreamy and realistic. Their language In the clown's way of expressing, a picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes a short sentence in time explains more than a thousand gestures. In the clown, the understanding and use of language is logical and primary. Gestural and corporal expression are his universal communication channel, without languages, where each gesture, sigh, look or act, leads us to introduce ourselves to his World and interpret what our inner child feels. Their actions In the clown's way of behaving, there is no nonsense. Everything he does has coherence… his. -- Note: The purchaser is acquiring ownership rights only of the physical work of art described, and that this transfer of ownership of the physical work of art does not convey to the purchaser any copyright or reproduction rights except (a) the right to display the physical work of art and (b) reproduce the work only in an exhibition catalog relating to exhibit of the work, and in no other medium. Passionate photographer, specialized in ‘auteur portraiture’ (author portrait) and creative production. Fan of drawing and videography... -- About Me... Since I was a kid, I have loved capturing images and trying to represent moments with a different and very personal perspective, and at the same time, allowing free interpretation. Technology has always been a part of my life, especially computing and digital design. I am self-taught and as a child I learned to combine my pencil drawings with digital editing software. This opened the door to digital art that I am passionate about continuing to discover. I consider that "art" is part of all sciences. I am also a Civil Engineer with specialties and a Master's degree in different fields, and what excites me the most is being able to combine 2 branches of art that, although they have different currents, are in a World that I want to continue discovering through those people who allow themselves to see that World in its own way. For this reason I allowed myself to share my works that I had “hidden" until close people encouraged me to show it to the World ... Little by little I will be showing more of those works that has been inspiring me in every moment of my life. I hope you enjoy them.
