PHOTOGRAPHER AUTHOR. Santiago, Chile. As a professional Art, Fashion and Publicity Photograher, I have travelled around the world photographing and writing about various cultures. Working for numerous magazines photographing fashion, interior decoration, food and photo journalismlike El Mercurio, Magazine Ya, Paula, Clan, Cosas, Caras, etc. I have lived in Sri Lanka and India, stayed in Italy, Spain and Mexico for several months and have done also portrait photography for singers and bands in Spain, Mexico and Chile.I have participated in Art Performances like Dance Theatre Shows projecting images on big screens, slide shows and data shows. What drives me is the mystery of eyes, light, darkness, movement or stillness, immensity, parallel realities, poetry and emotions contained in a photograph. In my photographs I use total freedom to blow up grains, saturated colours, mixing black and white and colour, digital interventions, or printing on canvas, metacrylic or paper. In my work I want to create textures and moods that have significance. In my series Huellas de Leonardo the mix of the bodies of dancers and Da Vincis drawings of machines brings the photographs to life. In Muertes y maravillas en la soledad del Tatio the geysers and volcanic smoke give rebirth to the murals of Pompei. In Meditacion del Poeta, Pablo Neruda en tiempos de Oriente, the solitude of Pablo Neruda in the Orient reflects a strange and unknown world to the poet in his youth. At the moment I work on the juxtaposition of western and precolumbine art. .htm Photographs and Slide Show in
