“Dumb’ino 4 feet” captures a moment of introspection and movement, a playful yet profound dialogue between the self and the path beneath. Emma-Claire Fierce is a versatile artist specializing in ink drawings, low-reliefs, and sculptures. Drawing inspiration from her extensive travels across Japan, Europe, India, the Middle East, and North Africa, she began incorporating gold leaf into her work in 2009, fully embracing it as her primary medium by 2020. Her artistic journey began with ink drawings crafted using eyedroppers, creating figures that embody natural movement and strength. Over time, she transitioned to larger-scale works and sculptural forms, seeking greater freedom to express herself within what she calls the “Sphere”—a focused, transcendent mental state akin to an athlete’s “Zone.” Emma-Claire’s style leans toward abstract expressionism, characterized by bold energy and a distinct worldview. An extreme sports enthusiast, she often creates in outdoor natural settings, blending her physical experiences with her art. While her work shares conceptual links with land art, she takes it further by using her body as a creative tool, with modern technologies preserving these unique creations. She selectively exhibits her work in private venues and galleries around the world, tailoring each project to specific opportunities and requests.
