I started taking photos while travelling, now I'm travelling for photos. In a connected world, there are so many ways to research the fancy spots of this world. It became less of a coincidence to capture it. You can research weather conditions, clouds, sunrise, aurora borealis likelyness, object directions, high and ebb tide, so also photography became far more efficient. But still it needs "an eye", intuition, skills and a personal style to grab real eye candy. I try a lot of new things (to me) all the time, like using film, extreme filters, underwater, there are so many aspects in photography. It's like constant learning for me, and thank God photography is not my profession. I wouldn't like the pressure of being successful, I rather put that pressure on myself - there is often just one chance to find the optimal picture, to get what you travelled for. That's enough compulsion for me.
