Born in Castelfiorentino, province of Florence.Pietro Ignesti, son of a painter/potter from Livorno and mother from Florence, attend the art school of Florence.He therefore grows up in an environment rich of art and creativity.Over the years, photography becomes his great passion.In 1999, at the age of nineteen years old he moves to London.In those years he decide to dedicate himself to sailing, another of his passions.He will work for fifteen years as a skipper on sailing boats.This job will take him to travel a lot around the Mediterranean sea and beyond.The Sea remains a source of ispiration and energy for him. With photography, he transmits his curiosity and reflection on the world and people in a very complex historical, cultural and social period.
