ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Kayaking on Saffron Seas" was taken on a beautiful winters evening on Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne. The sun has set and twilight was approaching as the light was turning the water into a spectacular saffron colour. It was the textures on the waters surface that captured my imagination most, with the kayaker giving the scene scale and place.
