Artist Photographer and painter, member of the French Photographers Federation (FPF), since 2006, Member of the Union of Russian Artists and International Federation of Artists, since 2014 Russian-born artist, I live and work in the Netherlands, and find inspiration in my travels around the world. The millennium was a time of great change in my personal and professional life; I fully dedicated myself to art and found in this my vocation. There are two main directions in my work, and they are interdependent. One results from deep reflection, meditation and expression of emotional and the most elusive moments of my inner life. This gives a character of spontaneity and uniqueness to each artwork. So I create my drawings and paintings Another one is whole impression of everyday life around me, reflected in artistic research in photography. My intention is to show ordinary items in such a way that details are present that would normally be overlooked. I want people to be able to distinguish all the particulars of the subject, thereby bringing the subject to life. In this way, the ordinary becomes something extraordinary. In photography I use a variety of mediums and techniques, such as aluminum and acrylic; in the same way all my photographs reflect reality without digital editing. My photographs have been part of exhibitions in France, Russia, Austria, England, Italy, Montenegro and Holland. Some of my works belong to private collections in these countries and also in the United States. I work for publishing house Romanoff in Moscow (Russia) and for the magazine “World and House”. Since the beginning of 2012 I have my own Art Photo Studio “STUDIO EKATERINA” where I’m working and organizing exhibitions. Currently I’m working on a new art project called Lumiere, which I will present soon in 2015. Awards: • Laureate of International Art Festival “New World”, Moscow, 2014 • Laureate of International Literary and Art Festival “Russian Myths”, Montenegro, 2014
