Dear friends and patrons, I am so pleased to have you as a guest of my online gallery of original fine art paintings and photography. The mission of my art, and my creative fulfillment is not complete until I can share my works with others. In each of my works I aim for the viewer to feel like a participant, and that the work evokes a feeling of continuous movement through time. My goal is to produce art that frees the imagination, illuminates the mind, and inspires the spirit. Inspiration begins with a revelation, discovery, or insight achieved that stokes a desire to share what I have acquired with others. The opportunity to share my work with the vast Internet audience is very exciting. Thank you for visiting, and please come again. My work is ultimately always all about me... I classify authentic and original art as being inseparable from the artist. I work to honestly portray my response to the subjects that I interact with. Beauty, melancholy, joy, fear, and humor are hallmarks of both my personality and my artistic style. An important theme for me is the exploration of relationships- people to the land, interpersonal, and personal history. My tendency is to think visually, resulting in a bias towards representational work. The resulting work is always my personal truth of 'the right way' to represent a subject. My work is crafted with care and is not deemed complete until I am satisfied with the result.... if I am not pleased with the outcome I usually destroy or recycle the work.
