Jill Paider's photographic meditations on architecture reveal intriguing, poetic dimensions of some of the world's most mesmerizing environments. Honored as the first architectural photographer to receive the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Grant by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, she has explored more than one hundred countries in search of complex vistas, which reveal the dynamic balance between constructed and natural environments. Her bold, layered images elegantly transpose vibrations of infinite potential and enduring tranquility experienced at each setting. She transforms these profound realms into graphic compositions that capture the delicate interplay between artful structures, untamed landscapes and harnessed natural light. Jill holds a Master's in world politics from the London School of Economics and a diploma in photography from the University of the Arts London, where she graduated with distinction. She is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and American Photographic Artists and serves as a consultant for photography education at the University of the Arts London. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California. She was recently hosted by the Architecture and Design Museum, Los Angeles for her 5-series book launch. The series includes Design + Destination, The Great Modern Architects, The Book of Modern Interiors, Prefab & Villa Savoye, all of which are available in archival limited edition copies. The corresponding fine art print collection was also introduced at this time. Her book series continues with the subsequent launch of the following eleven titles: Asian Design, Mid-Century Modern, Desert Modern, California Modern, Globetrotting, Carry-On Only, Cuisine Libre, The Art of Cuisine, African Safari, Scandinavian Design and Modern Refuge.
