Was born 08/05/1969; To my understanding, photographic images are a visual collection of the relationships, and associations I have experienced and the connections I have made in the World. Photography can visually express the intangible and cerebral act of complicated thought, both conscious and subconscious. There have been numerous influences during the course of my development. art movements like surrealism, popart, postmodernism, visual artists like Marsel Dushamp, Andy Warhol, Starn Twins, Joel Peter Witkin, poets like Rumi have had greatest impact. It is important to explane that the influences are not always stylistic ones. Usually the reverence for another artist is in the concept or philosophy of idea. This allows for appreciation across the media and periods. My artistic interest emphasizes the human experience. Layering and integrating unrelated or related things allows me to construct a reality that is intangible the one exist in my mind. I use my images to convey feelings of loneliness and isolation. I also try to show the humor or the sadness of the subject. Photography can reflect life as it is, but, perhaps, it is possible to walk, like Alice, through the looking-glass and find another kind of world which might be more real that reality we know.
