Ansal Adams was one of my favourite photographs that I admired when I was learning photography. Now I prefer my own style of photography rather than copy other photographers. I like to photograph wildlife and nature; I hope that your customers like my photographs.

I was born in Manchester England in June 1959 and still live there now. I started as a freelance photographer in 1991 after completing the BFP course in Freelance Photography & Photo-Journalism. In 1997, I passed a City & Guilds Certificate in Photography, after that in 1997, I also passed a college course in Adobe Photoshop. When I started Freelance Photography all of my photographs were transparencies to sell stock photographs to books, magazines and newspapers, I also conducted some wedding for families and friends in prints. I preferred stock photography because I could sell the same photographs over and over again. I still sell some of my first photographs now. My big break came in 1996, with A-Z Botanical Collection photo library I sold one of my photographs for almost £1000 commission, I also sold the same photograph several times after because of that sale. The Borough of Freelance Photographers published that photograph in their advertisements several times earning me more money. That is when I changed all of my equipment to medium format for the superior quality. I have now changed to a Nikon DSLR because it is a lot lighter and easier to put online also the quality is good now. While learning to become a photographer I would read every photographic book that I could get from the local libraries that I could. Ansal Adams was one of my favourite photographs that I admired. Now I prefer my own style of photography rather than copy other photographers. I am now scanning thousands of my transparencies and putting them online, and the transparency that has already earned me over £1000 has been scanned and sold again online but for a lot less this time.
