I am a versatile Tunisian artist, working as a director, musician, and photographer. From a young age, I was involved with the Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers (FTCA), an alternative federation dedicated to social change and which faced repression under the dictatorial regime before the 2011 Tunisian revolution. My films have been showcased at festivals worldwide, with my documentary Boza winning several awards, including Best International Film at the Terra di Tutti Festival in Bologna, Italy, in 2015. Between 2017 and 2021, I studied art and filmmaking at the School of Art and Media in Cologne, Germany. Currently, I’m working on a variety of artistic projects spanning music, film, and photography. Photography, especially film photography, remains one of my greatest passions, allowing me to observe the world from unique perspectives. Shooting film in Tunisia presents its challenges, notably due to the scarcity of film stock and the lack of local developing labs. Along with a group of fellow artists, I co-founded Atelier D, an artistic collective where we share our experiences, organize events, collaborate on film projects, and develop analog films together. I am pleased to present a selection of my film photographs. If you are interested in purchasing any of my work or would like to discuss potential collaborations, please feel free to contact me directly. Your support is greatly appreciated as I continue my artistic journey. Thank you for your interest and support!
