ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Picture: One-of-the-Kind signed by Kay Uwe Rott Info: The listed purchase price of the original is a cost estimate. I can tell the exact cost when I know how big the picture should be, with or without frame, on canvas, acrylic glass or aluminum dibond, tax, shipping, etc. About this picture: "Akt Number Five" portrays an intimate moment between two half-naked ballerinas sharing a kiss. This artwork delves into themes of sensuality, vulnerability, and human connection within the world of ballet. The choice to capture this private, tender moment between dancers, often associated with grace and poise on stage, invites viewers to see the more personal, human side of these performers. It may symbolize the passion and emotion that can be inherent in art, even in its most physically demanding and disciplined forms. However, it's important to note that the interpretation of such art can vary widely among viewers. Some may see it as an exploration of love and desire, while others may focus on the vulnerability and authenticity of the subjects. This piece prompts contemplation of the intersection between art, emotion, and the human experience.
