I was born in New York City where my art-loving grandmother took me to museums as soon as I could walk, encouraging my interest and knowledge of the arts at an early age. I attended The Art Students League and The Brooklyn Museum School in my teens. I have two degrees from Rhode Island School of Design, a BFA in painting and a Masters in Art Teaching. During my undergraduate RISD years I was accepted into the European Honors Program and spent two years living and painting in Italy. I have shown my paintings and mixed media works extensively in the United States with a concentration on the East Coast (Boston, New York City, New Jersey) where I lived for many years. My works are in various private and corporate collections in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Since moving to New Mexico, seventeen years ago, my work has been shown in Santa Fe at The Zane Bennett Gallery, The New Concept Gallery, The Salon Margraff, The Governors Gallery, The College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe Community College, and The Wiford Gallery. I also completed a forty-foot mural at the Atlas Gym in Espanola in Northern New Mexico. I currently live in the beautiful East Mountains, outside of Albuquerque, with my horse, Ziggy Starman, four goats, and two dogs. It is a wonderful life.
