I like painting and engraving. I also really like to combine them. Most of my work starts with a linocut block. I make multiple different prints of it and then I start to play with them. Some of them will be paintend above, some others will be the reason to start a total new work, a sculpture or an installation and in the end they (the prints) will probably disappear. The ability of repetition in printmaking and also the ability of creating a new image from the same block is something that really amazes me. It seems like telling a story again and again from a different point of view.
