'Fonkey Monkey' is the second sculpture a new series of works by artist robert bradford.. the series entitled 'Menagerie' and will cover many well known and lesser known species .. The material will be used to enhance the natures of the specific beasts represented..whilst retaining both modern and folk art references/craft techniques.. The series is a development of previous works utilising found objects such as plastic and soft toys and 'common' materials .. I hope that the work will be experienced as sensual and gently funny ...
