I spent most of my life as a music engraver - learning to draw music notation using pen and ink on vellum. I realized early in my career that music notation was actually an artistic combination of both sound and visual creativity. My exploration of art began as a way to release the internal pressures created by the entertainment industry. I began designing functional boxes and wearable art, then broadened my work to include sculptures. Ultimately, I became inspired to paint contemporary abstract fine art. As I experimented further, the geometric and graphic music notation symbols began to influence and merge with my abstract art designs, bringing me full circle to my musical beginnings - allowing collectors and enthusiasts to be intrigued by the relationship between art and music. I am excited to see where my creative influences will lead me. I now produce fine art and sculptures in my studio located in the greater Los Angeles area.
