I was born in Soviet Georgia in 1974 in Tbilisi. The most interesting years of youth coincided with the protest campaign demanding independence of Georgia, which was successfully completed in 1991, but uncertainty did not end with no peace. We were living in a continuous, militant, revolutionary and / or counter-revolutionary period. Therefore, in my creations and inspiration, this restless past of Georgian modern history is the most dominant part of my artworks. Each person was part of this reality. The civil war from the 1990s led to war conflicts in Samachablo and Abkhazia. This was accompanied by a severe social and economic situation, absence of electricity any other means vital communication. The country became black and white. In the suburbs of Tbilisi, you can still see gray, soulless images. We stayed only with colors that we could find in ourself. And to find that colors in psycho-social-economic darkness we managed only by hand touch. In this condition first time I felt serious passion to search harmony. I was the most important factor influenced me to become an artist Creative intuition was the flesh-light that illuminated all small corners of your hard life were I tried to fide small crystals to create my artworks. The darker is night the brighter is the firefly and his luminescence. Those who despite of any kind of weakness, still had the gaze caught them and someone on canvas and someone on paper created colorful worlds! Salvation in this case was of the colored lord's balls scattered in us...This way we studied the mystery of the dark color of darkness, or how can her majesty muse make the darkness colorful. We also started to see how we could paint the darkness, and then put these colored places into the twilight of other people. In the Old Gallery, we were all together with the artists, writers and musicians, and we colored the twilight of each other or the passing strangers, and I realized that the creativity is a torch that God has given us. To observe the subtleties that cannot be seen under the regular candle. This was followed by a number of personal exhibitions: "Karvasla" Art Museum, "Old Gallery" and I participated in group exhibitions at Georgian National Gallery, Old Gallery and many more. Works were made of various materials. Oil, acryl, gouache, mixed media, canvas, cardboard, stone, clay, wood, metal.
