Wing is an artist/ painter/ Graphic designer/ Art Director/ illustrator/ Florist, born and raised in Hong Kong, move to London in recent year and work with both traditional and digital mediums.
‘I have painted a large collection of flowers and plants in watercolours.’
‘I believed that flower do not only exist for decor and to exhibit various aromas, but it also exude emotion in air. This is what I have attempted to capture through my work.’
Watercolour is the medium that I used normally. I love it because it needs to race against time when you are painting. ‘As the water will dry out, if you are overthinking about how to put the colour, you cannot do a good painting. The best way is forget to thinking, trust your instinct.’
Wing graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Bachelor in Design (Advertising Design) and has exhibited over the world for the past 6 years.
