Raciel Anaya

My name is Raciel Anaya and I am from Tulancingo de Bravo, Hidalgo. From an early age, I had a certain talent for observation, which is a necessary virtue for every plastic artist. My inclination for the arts was late. I had an architect training for four years, and it was in that training where I got to know the arts more thoroughly, especially painting and sculpture. Since then the painting did not come out of my head, and eventually I did some exercises to satisfy my desire to perform art. Until I saw, through the internet, an interview that somebody did to Arturo Rivera, a consecrated painter. I identified so much with him, with his artistic work and with his painting, and finally I said to myself: I want to be a painter.

I studied the Bachelor of Visual Arts at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo.
