Rebecca Han

Rebecca Han is a Contemporary Fine Artist specializing in oil painting. Her primary focus is painterly landscapes, florals, and seascapes featuring the Pacific Northwest.  Her intention is to create a moment for the viewer to pause, reflect and connect with the natural world around them and the calmness it manifests. Painting and drawing is a form of meditation and homecoming that Rebecca has found to be life giving. Her method draws on the classic oil painting techniques while using the direct painting method and the wet on wet method. She primarily uses high quality oil paints, stretched canvases and walnut oil to preserve her work.

In the past, Rebecca worked in corporate HR before honing her skills in painting. Creating art has been always a joy and source of vitality for Rebecca throughout her life. She received her BFA at Seattle Pacific University.

Currently Rebecca paints at her home studio and at Brooke Westlund Studio & Gallery in Pike Place Market, Seattle.
