Rimma Baranikova

I am a fine artist of Ukrainian origin, living in Germany since 2011 and working mainly in oil painting. My artistic focus lies in portraiture and still life — subjects that allow me to explore emotion, atmosphere, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. I draw inspiration from classical painting traditions, yet interpret them in a contemporary way, often blending realistic detail with a touch of abstraction.

My paintings show not only what I see, but also what I feel. Each work becomes more than a representation — it is a piece of me shared with others. For me, this is the essence of art: creating something genuine that resonates with the viewer.

Developed as an artist through self-study, intensive practice, and participation in workshops across Germany and online.
