Rita Quattrocchi

Grown up in Florence, over the years she has lived abroad, but today she seems to be settled in a wild countryside, where human presence is scarce and silence is great.
In search of a link between what appears real and what is perceived, R.Q . channels into images her relationship with the animal world and the imagery formed in her childhood, where angels and humans were equally important. She rasps through her daily life in search of fragments that might arouse that childlike wonder.
She works on paper with mixed media, mainly oil and graphite.

self-taught

Her works have been selected and exhibited several times at the International Children's Illustration Exhibition in Sarmede (Italy), and also at Museo Luzzati -Genoa (Italy) Raccolte del Frugone - Genoa (Italy), Santa Maria della Pietà in Cremona (Italy), Palazzo Chibrera - Acqui terme (Italy).
