Riven Earle

Through the use of vivid colours in my work, I hope to evoke particular moods, while giving you an insight into the world as I see it.
I'm UK based artist predominantly working with Acrylic paints. My early years were nomadic, living in a converted horsebox, before my family settled in a small Welsh cottage. I spent my teenage years experimenting with different mediums before going to study Sport & Exercise Science at the University of Birmingham. My interest for art was reignited after discovering The Barber Institute of Fine Arts located on the University campus. Later, I visited the Ikon Gallery, which reignited my passion for contemporary art, and I was further influenced by the Eastside Project. Initially, my work was inspired by vivid colours and random patterns which I later began transforming into animals and people.
I immersed myself in the originality of creating new artwork and am inspired by contemporary artists such as Voka and Tim Bengel. After remaining true to my passion for over a year, I began to gain recognition and sell my work. Today, I continue to immerse himself in art and keep myself busy by working on my Psychedelic Collection.
