Living in northwest lower Michigan, the settings for most of my paintings are no further away than a step out my door. The pristine woods, cold lakes, strong shadows and equally as strong lighting are an artist dream.
I try to capture both texture and a deeper harmony, as well as the subject's unique place in time.
My paintings are more than rocks, water, trees and clouds; rather, they are a search for awareness.
So pause awhile and feel the stillness of awakening.
