Roberta Williams

Roberta Williams’ inspiration is expressed in vivid color through watercolor, pastel, acrylic and more, conveying a deep creative connection to life and nature. A native of Washington, D.C., she now lives in the Southwest, surrounded by the colors of Texas and New Mexico. Roberta has a degree is in journalism, graphic arts and photography from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling/art therapy. Her Christian faith gives meaning to her life and art.

Roberta is represented by the San Antonio Artists Collective in the prestigious Shops at La Cantera. Recently, Roberta’s award-winning work has recently been selected for an exhibit at the Witte Museum in San Antonio. Her art hangs in the Pentagon and the corporate headquarters of Smithfield Foods, Inc. and has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine, Virginian-Pilot and Daily Press. Roberta enjoys giving back to her community by assisting in local exhibits, and teaching and mentoring children in pursuit of their artistic dreams.

Roberta is pursuing a master's degree in counseling and art therapy. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, specializing in magazine editing, design, photography and graphic arts.
